MSF aims at giving medical help quickly and unbureaucratically to people afflicted by (civil) wars or natural disasters. This aid is given independently of the ethnic origin, the religious or political convictions of the victims. MSF works in a neutral way and is independent of political or economic influences.

The Bonn branch is responsible for staff training and recruitment.
