UNESCO’s International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training has the unique mandate to promote and support countries to implement Technical and Vocational Education and Training that is relevant, lifelong, and accessible to all. UNESCO-UNEVOC provides services in the areas of global networking; capacity development; and resource development and dissemination. The Centre undertakes its activities through a world-wide network of more than 280 UNEVOC Centres in more than 165 countries. UNESCO-UNEVOC conducts policy reviews and provides capacity development by conducting training, consultations and conferences in the different areas of TVET, such as the transition from school to work; greening TVET; and entrepreneurial learning. UNEVOC’s Capacity Development Programmes take place at the country level and through regional and international cooperation in close collaboration with the UNEVOC Network members.
