The festival has been taking place since 2010. It was created by merging the “Day of Intercultural Encounters” and the international festival for games and encounter. Since 2019, the Diversity festival has been organized by the Cultural Office of the City of Bonn. It offers visitors the opportunity to meet various associations, organizations, cultures and countries. This makes Bonn's diversity visible for all.

As the diversity of Bonn's cultural and club landscape is constantly changing, the Cultural Office would like to draw attention to the event well in advance.
