• Political education in Germany
• Research and consultancy: social and municipal studies; research into the Christian-social movement
• Awarding scholarships to German and foreign students, graduates and scientists (also from developing countries) as well as to students at universities of applied sciences
• Consulting and educational assistance for developing countries: trade unions, political parties, cooperatives, crafts, trade, industry, media, social work, public administration, educational institutions
• The organization of meetings and conferences on development policy issues.
