On Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 12 noon to 5 p.m., the House of Nature invites you to a Forest Christmas on the Waldau. In and around the House of Nature, there will be Christmas activities for the whole family. 

Outside, visitors can warm themselves by the campfire and bake log bread, while inside they may listen to winter tales, make their own beeswax candles or craft poinsettias and postcards from natural materials. The Friends of the House of Nature will serve mulled wine and children's punch for a donation. The current special exhibition “Bird Encounters” is also open.

Registration is not necessary. The city provides bread dough and handicraft materials free of charge.
