FEMNET is a non-profit women’s rights association that advocates economic, social and cultural rights of women worldwide. FEMNET especially supports women that work in the global clothing industry. The association organizes educational and awareness-raising campaigns Germany-wide calling for international solidarity. FEMNET focuses on the following projects and campaigns:

1. A project titled "FairSchnitt” addresses fashion design students and promotes a socially fair fashion industry, informing on global production chains and corporate responsibility in the clothing industry.

2. FEMNET is an active member of the Clean Clothes Campaign, advocating the improvement of labor conditions for female sewers worldwide.

3. FEMNET raises funds to support two organizations in India and Bangladesh that advocate the rights of female sewers.
