The city tour describes the path to the seizure of power, the attitude of the university, the work of the political resistance and the brutal persecution during National Socialism. Individual fates illustrate the horrors of the Nazi era.

As a cycling tour, the tour can be extended to include some additional aspects of Nazi history: The Jewish cemetery in the north of Bonn, the deportation collection camp in the Monastery "Zur Ewigen Anbetung" in Endenich, the former Gestapo branch office in Bonn and the former SS barracks in the old Canton prison.
