The shepherds play an important role in Polish Christmas tales and songs, the Kolenden. They symbolize the simplicity, laughter and faith of the people who worship the baby Jesus: » Let’s all go to the stable! « says one of the most beautiful Polish Christmas carols, which really makes your legs twitch and you can feel the shepherds running off together in their great joy. » Hej, Kolenda! « is the motto of our Christmas concert, the centerpiece of which is a nativity play set to music. Some of the most popular kolendas are played, including the famous » Luleise, Jesulein «, which was sung to Frédéric Chopin by his mother.
- In cooperation: Stadtwerke Bonn.
