Positive interim results on open vaccination campaigns - Further dates

With its open vaccination campaigns to protect against the coronavirus in various parts of the city, the Federal City of Bonn has so far reached 750 people. The vast majority have opted for a one-time vaccination with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

This is the interim balance drawn by the city administration after the first five dates at which people aged 16 and over can be vaccinated without an appointment. Two vaccination campaigns took place in Tannenbusch, two in Beuel and one at Heiderhof. "We are very satisfied with the response so far," says health department director Dr. Susanne Engels. "Every single vaccination helps, because you protect yourself and your fellow human beings. We will continue to offer vaccination campaigns in the city districts in the coming days and hope to convince more people to get a Corona vaccination."

The open vaccination campaigns are aimed in particular at people in the respective neighborhood, but are open to all citizens of Bonn. People aged 18 and older can be vaccinated with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine (one-time vaccination), and people aged 16 and older can be vaccinated with the Biontech vaccine. In these cases, the second vaccination will take place approximately four weeks later.

Persons wishing to be vaccinated are asked to bring their identity card and vaccination certificate, if available. The vaccination documents will be filled out on site.
