Corona first vaccinations in the vaccination center until end of July

At the Bonn Vaccination Center in the World Conference Center, initial vaccinations against the corona virus are only possible up to and including Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Appointments will continue to be available until the end of July and can be booked by people from Bonn but also by people from the surrounding area without prioritization. People will be immunized with vaccine from Biontech or Moderna. Appointments for all people over 16 years of age are available through the booking portals of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. Appointments can be booked online at www.116117.de and by telephone via the central number 116 117 or the additional number (0800) 116 117 01. Children aged 12 to under 16 for whom vaccination is recommended by the Standing Commission on Vaccination (STIKO) (for example, because of a previous illness) will be offered vaccination at their local pediatrician's or family doctor's office.

Starting Sunday, August 1, only second vaccinations will be given at the Immunization Center. These vaccinations will be carried out from this date in the so-called plenary building of the WorldCCBonn, which is located directly opposite the current vaccination center.

As of Wednesday morning, July 7, 2021, a total of 213,227 first and 156,913 second vaccinations against coronavirus have taken place in Bonn.

Current figures

In the past seven days, 16 laboratory-confirmed new infections have been reported to the health department. This puts the 7-day incidence rate relative to 100,000 population* at 4.9 as of Wednesday, July 7.

14,561 Corona cases have been detected since February 28, 2020. 14,282 people are considered recovered, 252 people have died in association with coronavirus, and 27 people are currently infected. Currently, there are no positive cases in community settings such as daycare centers and schools. 193 Bonner*innen are currently in quarantine.

Data breach

On July 6, there was a data breakdown in the health department's mailings to travelers returning home. In 15 cases, unfortunately, all affected e-mail addresses were disclosed to the respective group of recipients. The data breach will be reported by the City of Bonn to the State Data Protection Commissioner in due time according to the established procedure.

The city administration apologizes to those affected.
