While we in Bonn are also keeping a close eye on recent developments in the United States of America and in our own country, we would like to take a look at some of the topics that we are currently dealing with in our city. We will continue to promote international cooperation and sustainable development here in Bonn and beyond as well as good networking with relevant stakeholders - and will be pleased to again share some of our related activities in this fall edition of Bonn International News.
Mayor Katja Dörner has recently met with Melanie Hauenstein, Director of the UNDP Germany Representation Office, as well as with a delegation from Gangnam, a district of Seoul, South Korea. The Regional Representation of the European Commission in Bonn celebrated its 70th anniversary this year, and we are delighted to share with our readers a guest contribution of its new head, Dr. Stefan Lock, on this fine occasion.
