The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and the City of Bonn celebrated the start of their annual partnership with a reception on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Expert reports confirm federal interest in key areas of the Berlin/Bonn Supplementary Agreement. The results of studies and expert reports on four key areas of the Berlin/Bonn Supplementary Agreement are now available. An independent study has examined and evaluated them in terms of their federal interest. A potential federal interest was confirmed for all points examined. 

For the second time since 2012, a national conference of Mayors for Peace (MfP) took place in Bonn on Friday 21 March. The Mayors for Peace from Germany exchanged views on current peace and security policy issues.  

The city administration published the second Annual Report on Bonn's Climate Plan on March 18, 2025.
